Release Highlights
- MaXX Desktop DR3 is now a drop-in installation. No more messing around with your system configuration.
- Introduction of SGI-Motif-2.3.1 as the new Motif version standard for MaXX Desktop. SGI-Motif-2.1.32 is still supported and provided for compatibility.
- Most of the desktop applications that was compiled with SGI-Motif-2.1.32 are now compiled with SGI-Motif-2.3.1
- Cosmetic bugs were preventing gmemusage to properly display all the process inside the drawing area.
- A bug in gmemusage '/proc parsing' was causing some random problems in Fedora Linux distribution.
- glut-maxx based application now support 5Dwm application icons. We added a XClassHints in the glutCreateWindow.
- A few cosmetic bugs were fixed in mxterm. Mostly in the Scrollbar and popup menus when running in adminterm and sshterm mode.
- The rendering code of 5Dwm window manager was improved in order to prepare for the modern-look overhauling...
- 5Dwm window decorations are now at a few pixels close to its cousin on IRIX. Smoother title-bar and push buttons.
- gr_oview displays all the labels and text in uppercase.
- A new installation procedure allow MaXX Desktop to be installed in less than 5mins.
