Recommended Linux Distribution to run MaXX Interactive Desktop
The MaXX Interactive Desktop, a.k.a. MaXX Desktop, is design to be very fast and to require a small memory footprint. The main goal is to provide the right balance of eye-candidness, interactiveness, performance and user interface friendliness. But more importantly, MaXX Desktop is design to maximize the speed and stability of your production class applications.
The MaXX Desktop is supported on the following CPU architecture:
- 32 Bit
- x86 Intel or AMD CPU
- 64 Bit
- x86_64 / AMD64 (EMT64 or AMD64 CPUs)
- ia64 (Intel Itanium CPU)
To limit the endless testing on various Linux distributions, we have selected the following distributions based on user requests and feedback.
